BIRTH EDUCATION
About the Course
The Hypnobirthing Australia™ Positive Birth Education course consists of twelve hours of face-to-face training (online, in person at your home, or a combination of the two), as well as activities and exercises for you to complete outside of our time together. The course is designed to educate you about the basics of pregnancy and birth, as well as equip you with myriad evidence-based tools and techniques that you can draw on throughout your labour (and beyond!). The information and practices we cover are useful for everyone, regardless of your chosen model of care, or the type of birth experience you are hoping for.
The course is designed to be undertaken by the birthing mother and her chosen support person, and is focussed on facilitating open discussions and enabling you to work together as a team. Support people will finish the course feeling informed and able to be truly useful and supportive of the birthing mother throughout pregnancy, labour, and the post-partum period. I am passionate about ensuring I am able to support you and your particular needs. In order to get to know you and understand your individual needs and how I can best support you you, I will arrange a chat prior to commencing the course. I will also make myself available for email support between our sessions.
